"Berluti's Newest Boutique"

Berluti opened its brand new boutique on Madison Ave. this week. Great wine, great people, and a great class on master shoe making was just some of the reasons you should have been at the event. Its not often that you get to shop a collection whilst in the presence of the designer. This is the fourth store opened in the United States, but the first to be devoted to the bespoke shoe collection. Yes, in case your wondering, you will also be able to shop for the majority of seasonal pieces at any given time. Allesandro Sartori has plans to launch a few more boutiques in the United States but is currently concentrating on expanding his brand in the the Middle East and South Eastern Asia. We highly recommend you reserve an hour out of your schedule, next time your in the city, to explore the store for yourself.




"The Webster: A Prestige Miami Boutique"

Miami is a city of high fashion, expensive cars, and great food. All of our favorite things! Right? Well, whether your visiting the city for a few weeks, attending a business event, or taking a day to relax on the beach, The Webster Boutique is a must see and must shop destination, that needs to be added to your schedule. Home to over 50 menswear brands, including Billionaire Boys Club, Givenchy, Herschel Supply, Lanvin, Neil Barrett, Rag & Bone, and Valentino. The Webster is also home to its own line of accessories for men and women. Make sure to reserve enough time to shop through the 20'000 sqft, high-end label store. The store has been featured in Vogue UK, Harper's Bazaar, Purple Diary, WWD, Vogue Brasil, Vogue France, and over 170 other magazines and editorial websites. (They can also add Couture Homme to that list.) "Frankie Morello"

This show, from Frankie Morello, made for one of our favorite Spring and Summer 2014 shows at the Milan Men's Fashion Week. Watch the show below and then keep reading to learn a bit more about our favorite looks from the incredibly fun collection.

Left: A fun, comical, knitted v-neck sweater tops a crisp, printed oxford shirt and paired with a great pair of sun faded jean with ripped details and touches of red colored threads. The look is accessorized with Morello eye-wear, tie, and boater.
Right: A casual crew-neck sweater in bright red, gives a comfortable and effortless look to the tailored silhouette. From the pattern stitched trousers to the crisp, striped oxford shirt, the look is perfect for a Sunday morning stroll in the city. Paired with accessories from the Morello collection, including an over-sized rucksack, a blue checked tie, a twill boater, and white, square rimmed sunglasses.

Left: This preppy look has to give credit for all of its glory, to the red suede bomber jacket. Its accompanied by a simple powdered blue, oxford shirt, with contrasting buttons. White Bermuda shorts with a stitched pattern, sit on the waist. Simple accessories accompany the look and add a minimalist effect of contrast. A thin line of black (the black leather belt)  separates the shorts and the shirt, giving the look a casually tailored appearance.
Right: Although this look may be to minimal for most situations, its a great look for taking a dip in the ocean or riding a bike along the beach. V-line swimming briefs in contrasting summer colors are accompanied with an oversized rucksack and Morello sunglasses. A pull-over sweater sits on the shoulders, tied around the front, giving the look a preppy appearance. Take our advice and avoid wearing this to brunch this Saturday.
Above: This simply cut, casually tailored, and crisp appearing blazer adds a bit of class to the light summer outfit. Leave it buttoned for that business meeting on Friday, or leave it unbuttoned for that well deserved shopping trip in Malibu. Either way, the jacket compliments a simple oxford shirt well and pairs impeccably with any above-the-knee cut shorts or slim trousers (don't forget to roll the cuffs for that effortless, casual look.) Accessorize with a pair of sunglasses, tie, wingtip shoes, and clutch.

"Balenciaga"

Balenciaga's new accessory line is made up of rethought shapes and reconfigured designs based on pieces from the early 50's. Color was given the majority of attention from the designers and they can now claim that they have a perfect collection. Take a look

"Frankie Morello"

When it comes down to styling and detailing a piece, Frankie Morello is at the top of his game. Models poured into the Milan home office for casting and Mr. Morello had them all on their toes. Outfit after outfit and accessory after accessory, the men were matched and tailored with the perfectly cut silhouette. A fun and exciting atmosphere is portrayed from the home office and can be viewed below on the casting video.


"Roberto Cavalli"


The show opened up with a stunning film project that aimed to present the emotion behind the collection. A man wakes up lying on a warm desert road. He has only a calf skin doctors bag and a pair of fitted trousers. Confused and disoriented by the deep panorama that portrays miles of stretching desert all around him. He climbs to a peak and unleashes a furious roar. Releasing all the emotions that he couldn't express. Uncertain of his situation; he wonders, looking for answers. His imagination burns around him. Leaving him with more and more to ponder. He dreams. He looks for himself . He understands himself and he now knows where he must go and what he must do. The sound of the dry, desert road 'crunching' beneath his Cavalli boots, concludes the story and begins the show.

I felt the EXACT same way after experiencing this pure, pleasurable, eye candy of a show!
So... Lets recap what we just witnessed from the Fall-Winter 2014-15 collection.
  
  A black, symmetrical cut overcoat walks out first, which warns the viewers that this is going to be an exciting show. It is followed by a more casual look, made up of loose fitted trousers and a ruffled turtleneck sweatshirt with pattern studded, leather sleeves. On down to look number 6, we see a miniature chevron printed driving coat with contrasting shawl lapel that is layered with a grey tone, dyed scarf. Look number 11 features a raw cut leather trench coat, lined with pale sheep's wool. By this point we have seen a collection that is mainly comprised of formal silhouettes twisted with urban prints. If raw cut fabrics mixed with asymmetrical lines isn't enough, just wait. There's more. Look number 13 pulls off a street chic styling while maintaining a tailored look. Its followed by 6 more urban inspired, formal edited silhouettes.  From this point we start seeing Nordic inspired prints and radical colors combined with sharp forming shapes. Detailed trousers, oversized scarves, blocked jackets, and long coats are also continued into this part of the collection. Just as the music changes and the lights dim, the show moves into its gala and evening wear pieces. The collection is wrapped up with a hand dyed, multicolored fur coat that swayed and folded with every step. The models take their final walk down the city street inspired runway. Mr. Cavalli casually walks, with his assistant, past the audience giving a few slight waves. Then the lights gradually fade away, closing the magnificent show!

"Diesel Black & Gold"

Diesel is notorious for great looking, casually styled clothes. In 2007, when they announced they would be adding the Black & Gold label to the brand, peoples curiosity aroused. Since then, the label has released some very popular collections to buyers who prefer clothes in the mid high end category. This year the Black and Gold Fall-Winter 2014-15 collection was shown at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City. As the show concluded and all the models took their final walk down the runway, the crowd stood from their seats and applauded louder than any other designers who showcased their collections at the largest fashion event in the United States. Take a look at one of the exasperating looks that walked the runway this year.

Alexander McQueen has just announced the release of the Spring-Summer 2014 pre-collection. A total of 19 looks are available to be purchased whole or by individual pieces. "Dolce & Gabbana"

Dolce & Gabbana has done it again. Shocking the world with their seamless minimalist designs and neutral tones that accentuate the body. Although, I thought the runway show was a bit lacking in excitement, the marketing department made up for it with the super amazing editorial styling in these advertisements. I become very happy when I open up a magazine and have these photos scream at me! Lets break each look down. Shall we? Read below!

LEFT: The silk gala jacket presents a very formal edge with a relaxed, notched lapel in a shined finish and short wrist cuffs. The loose fitting trousers compliments the fitted waistcoat. The seamless oxford shirt that forms as the base of the look, features a short collar that compliments the neckline and a barrel cuff that peaks out just enough to provide contrast to the jacket sleeve. A thin bow-tie, finished with a stub knot, completes the look.
RIGHT: This impeccably cut silhouette owes everything to the sharp, architectural lines on the metallic finished, silk waistcoat. The piece is accompanied with matching trousers and a seamless, oxford shirt. Minimalist designed, pearl links hold the French cuffs together, while the pointed bow-tie completes the look.
Impeccably designed, masterfully tailored, elegantly casual, and entertainingly formal can all be used to describe the bespoke pieces in the newest Dolce & Gabbana collection.

A relaxed look, designed for walking the streets of London. Perfect for exploring new parts of the city with your camera, and heading into the office for the day. Dolce & Gabbana has handed its customers the best of both worlds in this collection. The entire silhouette is in a miniature hounds-tooth patern, but each piece contrasts eachother by the cuts and lines.
