"Salvatore Ferragamo"

Salvatore Ferragamo; a company of exceptionally high design standards. Luxury is the base of all that is produced with the Ferragamo label. Taking a look at the Spring and Summer 2014 runway collection, we see a collaboration between earthy tones and vibrant hues, asymmetry and raw cuts, as well as formal aesthetics and casual silhouettes. Minimalism and the male figure are harmoniously combined in the fabulous show by the Florentine fashion house. Lets break down our 2 favorite looks from this seasons runway show.

Look 1: A beautiful single breasted, camel colored driving coat layered upon a dash cut sweater and crisp oxford shirt. The camel color is contrasted by a white print design that seems to form the number one. The printed design bleeds onto the lapel of the coat where the sweater is covered. Camel colored trousers in a slim, tailored finish complete the look.
Look 3: A formally tailored yet casually styled windbreaker jacket that seems to be built layer upon layer serves as the showpiece for this look. The jacket is paired with crisp, white Bermuda shorts and a white silk, crew-neck tee.

"Canali"

Cropped details, contrasting seams, and popping colors have built up the newest Spring collection from Canali. Scroll below to see the looks from this collection.

"AMI"

The AMI Fall/Winter 2014-15 collection by Alexandre Mattiussi is absolutely spectacular. AMI is known to present a strong urban aesthetic in most of their past collections, but this one seems to target a more formal approach. They have ultimately created a whole new sub-genre of fashion that the designer has named "formal grunge." Each piece takes an idea from a tailored silhouette and merges it into elements of their already acclaimed grunge designs. Bright colors and bold patterns paired with architectural lines and asymmetrical cuts are the most seen pairing from this collection. Scroll past the video to see our favorite looks in a still frame. In case anyone who is watching this 37 piece show just happens to be as obsessed with the music choice as we were; the music information and the links to download them on various music applications are listed at the bottom of the post.

"Giuseppe Zanotti"

Giuseppe Zanotti has long been acclaimed as a leader in the footwear industry. They target young adults who appreciate a masculine based design that is cut with slight femininity. Giuseppe Zanotti designs are  meant to be worn as the statement pieces of the look. Bold, formally exuberant, and unorthodox are all words that describe the personality that bleed from each of the pieces. Take a look below at our favorites from the Spring-Summer 2014 collection.

"Eyewear by Louis Vuitton"

Louis Vuitton eyewear are by far some of the most comfortable labels in the industry. The glasses, although they are very strong, rest delicately on the face and present themselves well while showing off the defining features of the face. After testing out the newest spring collection of eyewear by Louis Vuitton, we at Couture Homme came up with out favorite selections. Take a look below to view and read about our picks.
This pair is defined by its thick, metallic, upper bar and gradient lenses in a mirrored finish. The oval shape makes a perfect fit for any shape of face. These sunglasses demand the attention of everyone around and feature a futuristic appearance.
This statement accessory gives off a bold look while being generous on covering up your facial curves. Because these have a square shaped rim, they are worn best by those with a rounded or oval shaped face.
These retro styled sunglasses are designed with super light acetate that is exclusively used by Louis Vuitton. The flexible arms are perfect for those who seem to never sleep.  Because of the rounded frames, this pair is most suitable for people with a square or rectangular face.

"BLK DNM"

The BLK Denim Design Company has been targeting the successful, young adult category since they began releasing clothes to the public. The design team leans towards using materials and fabrics that are pushed away by most high-end brands. Unfortunately, the company only has 2 boutiques (one in New York city and the other in Stockholm) but buyers can purchase products from other private boutiques and even large department stores. Neoprene fabrics seem to be the favorite of the company. They work the materials in a way that it slightly exposes the underlying pieces or creates a great contrast between the wearers natural skin tone and the fabrics light hue. This collection for Spring-Summer 2014 is perfectly paired with pieces from AMI, Rag & Bone, as well as Rad Hourani. To find a complete list of businesses that offer BLK DNM, follow the link at the bottom of this post.
